SERES (09927) closed up more than 15% yesterday and rose nearly 9% again in early trading today. As of press time, it was up 4.16% at HK$40.54, with a turnover of HK$217 million.

On the news front, on October 12, SERES Group appeared at the 2026 Paris Motor Show with four AITO models — the M9, M8, M7 and M6 — as well as technological achievements such as the Magic Cube technology platform, and announced that it will enter the European market in autumn 2027. According to the introduction, in order to better integrate into the European market, AITO is advancing regulatory compliance certification and localized operations.

It is worth noting that, according to Jiemian, market rumors recently emerged that the Zunjie ultra-luxury SUV project under HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility plans to be transferred to SERES for production, and the Zunjie brand may abandon its SUV model plans. The related news stimulated SERES's stock price for two consecutive days.

In response to the market rumors, according to Yicai, an internal source at JAC Motors said, "This is false information." As of press time, SERES has not yet made a formal public response to the rumor.
