Insilico Medicine Cayman TopCo (Insilico Medicine) has voluntarily disclosed the nomination of ISM9546, an orally bioavailable, peripheral-restricted VAV1 molecular glue degrader, as a new preclinical candidate for autoimmune indications.

The compound, discovered through Insilico Medicine’s proprietary Pharma.AI platform, is designed to address inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatoid arthritis. According to the announcement, ISM9546 demonstrated nanomolar activity in cell-based assays and is engineered to remain peripherally restricted, a characteristic intended to mitigate central nervous system safety risks.

ISM9546 is the 35th preclinical candidate identified by the company since 2021, underscoring continued output from its AI-driven discovery engine.

Management reiterated that the update is forward-looking and the underlying financial and operational data have not been audited or reviewed. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
