NVIDIA's Korea representative, Jeong So-young, predicted that the Physical AI market, which can perceive the physical world and perform actual actions based on that perception, will grow rapidly. She explained that the core means of realizing Physical AI is computing infrastructure.
Jeong So-young stated: "The data required for Physical AI inherently has three-dimensional (3D) environmental characteristics, so collecting data requires very powerful computing capabilities," adding, "Simulation learning is also necessary, so fully securing computing resources is a source of competitiveness."
Jeong So-young proposed that the NVIDIA platform is the core technology for achieving Physical AI. Representative examples include "Isaac," a platform that can test robots using AI and physical simulation, and "Cosmos," which can accelerate this process. On this foundation, NVIDIA is engaging in broad cooperation with Korean companies.
The most representative example is LG Group, which is applying Isaac to humanoid robot development and pursuing technological upgrades.
Jeong So-young stated: "LG Electronics is developing new humanoid robots through NVIDIA's hardware and software platforms," and "We are conducting close joint development, and there will be an opportunity to introduce meaningful results soon."
