Kingsoft Corporation Limited has issued an inside information announcement indicating that its share of losses from two investment vehicles—Beijing Shunjin Shunying Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership) and Shenzhen Shunying Private Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership)—is expected to reach between RMB1.00 billion and RMB1.20 billion for the three months ended 30 September 2026.
The anticipated third-quarter shortfall contrasts sharply with the corresponding period in 2025, when Kingsoft recorded only RMB3.40 million in losses from the same funds. Management attributes the larger deficit to a decline in the share prices of certain listed technology companies held by the funds, which negatively affected fair-value assessments.
Despite the projected third-quarter setback, Kingsoft still expects its share of profits from the two funds to total RMB1.30 billion–1.50 billion for the nine months ended 30 September 2026, compared with a loss of RMB11.20 million in the same period last year. The company emphasised that these fluctuations stem from investment valuations rather than core operating performance and are largely non-cash in nature.
Kingsoft plans to release its unaudited results for the third quarter of 2026 by the end of November 2026. The board cautioned shareholders and potential investors to exercise care when dealing in the company’s securities and noted that the disclosed figures are based on preliminary assessments pending review by auditors.
