[Click to Register] Sina Tech News, October 13 evening—BYD Company Limited (002594) Dynasty series flash-charging luxury flagship sedan, the Han, has officially been launched. This time, the Han introduces three models: the 1008KM rear-wheel-drive LiDAR Prestige Edition, the 1008KM rear-wheel-drive LiDAR Flagship Edition, and the 880KM four-wheel-drive LiDAR Flagship Edition, with a price range of 235,900 to 275,900 yuan.
The Han measures over 5.2 meters in length and has a wheelbase exceeding 3.1 meters. In terms of design details, it features a 2.41-meter integrated through-type daytime running light, a floating wheel badge with the character "Han" that always stays upright, and 21-inch Shanhe Mingjing large disc wheels; for body colors, the Han offers four two-tone color schemes and five classic solid colors.
Inside the cabin, the Han boasts a 90.8% space utilization rate, with front-row dual zero-gravity seats as standard, white ash solid wood trim panels that are hand-polished, and 31 Devialet speakers throughout the vehicle; the front row is equipped with a 40-inch AR-HUD head-up display and a 12.3-inch passenger screen, while the rear row features a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted screen, paired with 8 independent headrest speakers; the right rear "President's Seat" is specifically designed for business needs, with four-way leg rests plus a 90-degree footrest, and a backrest that can be electrically adjusted up to 12 degrees. The Han also features PDLC dimming glass, the same as the Yangwang U8L.
On the technical front, the Han is equipped with the newly upgraded second-generation blade battery, achieving the longest range among D-segment pure electric sedans—1,008 kilometers—with an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.197; the Han comes standard with flash charging. By the end of this year, BYD will have built 20,000 flash-charging stations; on the chassis, the Han supports rear-wheel steering of plus or minus 7 degrees, with a turning radius of only 4.95 meters. At the same time, the Yunian-A dual-chamber air suspension is standard across all trims, supporting 100mm of free lift, so when going over speed bumps or rough roads, the body stays firmly pressed to the road surface.
In the field of intelligent technology, the Han comes standard with the God's Eye B - Assisted Driving LiDAR Edition, with highway navigation assist, urban navigation assist, and full-scenario intelligent parking all available; BYD's AI super intelligent agent "Didi Xia" is also standard, possessing three core capabilities: "can chat, can get things done, can play around," able to remember users' preferences, help users plan complex routes, book hotels, and more. The Han is also equipped with BYD's self-developed smart buttons, allowing vehicle control with a single press and twist.
In terms of performance and safety, the rear-wheel-drive version of the Han accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, while the four-wheel-drive version does it in 3.3 seconds, with a 100 km/h braking distance of 32.83 meters; at the same time, the Han comes standard across all trims with the TBC high-speed tire blowout stability system, supporting tire blowout stability control at straight-line speeds of up to 200 km/h and curve speeds of up to 150 km/h. The vehicle's usage rate of high-strength steel and aluminum alloy exceeds 87%, with 11 core collision protection areas using 2,000 MPa hot-formed steel, paired with 11 airbags. For extreme weather, the Han has also developed a heavy rainfall parking guard—when it detects rising water levels, the vehicle will actively raise the suspension and remind the owner via mobile app to move the car in time.
