Xinyi Energy Holdings Limited disclosed on 12 October 2026 that it has repurchased 11.27 million ordinary shares for cancellation between 24 September and 12 October 2026. Despite the ongoing buy-back programme, the company’s issued share capital remained unchanged at 8.65 billion shares as of the reporting date because the repurchased shares had not yet been cancelled.

The six on-market transactions were executed at prices ranging from HKD 0.7771 to HKD 0.79 per share, implying a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HKD 0.78. The most recent repurchase on 12 October involved 2.45 million shares at HKD 0.78 each, for a cash outlay of HKD 1.91 million.

Cumulatively, Xinyi Energy has bought back 54.32 million shares under the mandate granted on 29 May 2026, equivalent to 0.64 % of the company’s shares in issue on that date. The existing mandate permits repurchases of up to 851.97 million shares, leaving about 797.65 million shares—roughly 9.22 % of current issued capital—still available.

Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the latest repurchase triggers a 30-day moratorium on any new share issuance or sale of treasury shares, lasting until 12 November 2026. The company confirmed that all buybacks were conducted on the Exchange and complied with applicable listing rules and regulatory requirements.
