China Science and Education Industry Group Limited (CHI SCI&EDU IND) has postponed the release of its shareholder circular related to a previously announced property acquisition.

Originally scheduled for distribution on or before 30 September 2026, the document is now expected on or before 30 November 2026. The company attributes the two-month delay to the need for additional time to prepare and finalise the information contained in the circular.

The postponed circular will include: 1) a detailed letter from the Board outlining the terms of the acquisition; 2) recommendations from the Independent Board Committee to independent shareholders; 3) an independent financial adviser’s opinion; 4) a full valuation report on the properties; and 5) a notice convening the extraordinary general meeting.

The board is chaired by Zhang Zhifeng. Executive directors comprise Zhang Zhifeng, Ye Yaming, Zhang Yude and Xiao Xiaobing, while independent non-executive directors are Chiu Lai Kuen Susanna, Yang Ying and Ding Yi.
