IonQ (IONQ) has agreed to acquire cybersecurity firm Elisity in an all-stock deal worth up to $1.3 billion, it said Monday. The firm said the combined platform will protect against current large language model and emerging quantum threats.
Shares retreated 10% amid intraday trading volume of over 20.8 million, versus a daily average of about 21.2 million.
Ciena's (CIEN) shares slumped 9.9% after the company announced Monika Fahlbusch's appointment as its chief people officer, effective Monday.
More than 1.88 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 2.44 million.
